QR-Codes win mostly

QR-Codes win, mostly. It is all about competition, and what sort of technology and routines, that mainstream mobile users favor.
Yesterday, it had been: text/type my phone number, and click to call.
Today, it is scan my phone number, and click to call. So, it actually doesn't matter, if your phone number or .tel name is a long one: As scanning is the same procedure, for all kind of text info and contact info. In this szenario, you can be sure, the guy with the QR-Code, will win the race, and the heart...
Basically, both competitors are displaying a link: phone number and web link, or maybe both are web links, and both might even be Dot Tel domains, if you will. Just, the one is a web link in code form (to be decoded into text), and the other is a web link in text form. But scanning is faster (if you have some practice) than having to read and then type a name, respectively, to dial a number. If the lady hasn't a QR reader, than she will take notice of the Dot Tel name. But after all, her choice may not depend on whatever number is easier to store, but depend on which gentleman made the better impression on her. And then again: A short an memorable .Tel name, might be favored, if the phone holder is not very used and efficient with scanning. Conclusion: Short Dot Tel names, might still have a chance... But QR-Codes, however, are just around the corner.
And the next big craze to be adopted in the US and in Europe. Last time losers, get another chance, thanks to QR-Codes. Dating can be more fun: "Scan my phone number, with your phone." Or you can even write a message on your phone, and then "bump" her phone, to send the message to her/him, providing, she/he has the same software, etc.
Stick a QR-Code on your back, and wait and see, if your princess will call you. If they think you are cool, or handsome, they might call you. Put your codes everywhere. Sell stuff, date women, tell the world about this and that, tell them how and where they can find and contact you. Dot Tel domains, are still no-brainers, when it comes to contact information. Point your codes to Dot Tel pages, use Dot Tel's as landing pages, and so on.
