About domain name extensions

"com" stands for "commerce",

"tel" stands for "telephone". And "tele-phone" means "far-voice" (from the Greek: τῆλε, tēle, "far" and φωνή, phōnē, "voice").

com and tel don't mean anything, as they can stand for a variaty of things.

We have only accepted "com" for a replacement of "commerce".

Ok: So "tel" stands for "far voice".

So, the idea of ".tel", was to be a service, for vocal communication.

"tele" just means "far", and so we have:

"far voice": "tele phone", and
"far vision": "tele vision".

If you will, "tele", respectively, "tel", could stand for "phone", as well as for "TV".

Again: "tel" means nothing, because it is not "tele".

But at the end, we should all know, that "tel" must stand for "telecommunications" ("far communications", "communication between far appart partners".

"tele", or "tel", is neither related to mobile communicatons: It is not "m", "mob", or "mobi", or "mobile".

But at the end, we should all knoe, that ".tel" must stand for "mobile telecommunications".

Whatever ".tel" is supposed to be held for, and understood for, ".tel" just looks good. Show me some other domain name extensions, that look good.

".tel" is supposed to be understood as "mobile telecommunications".

Not such a bad thing, now that mobile marketing is a growing trend.

In other words: ".tel" is the best domain name extension, you could think of.

No other domain name extension is better for mobile marketing.

Actually, it would be nice, to be able to build any sort of mobile website under the domain extension ".tel".

At the moment, ".tel" is a landing page, that doesn't look very interesting. But its got all that hidden potential, you can only assume of.

Conclusion: The sure value of a Dot Tel domain, is its extension ".tel". Any .tel name, if not too silly, is a diamond, that need to be cut with facets, so that it shines.
