Sharing QR-Codes from blogs

Mind you:
You don't necessarily have to be Japanes, to be able to do it:

Codes can be scanned from any screen (PC, laptop or other smart phone).

You need a mobile phone with an inbuilt camera, and have to download a code reader application, if your mobile phone is not one of the newest / latest models, bought in the US or UK.

If you happen to be Japanese, or live in Japan, then your mobile phone is ready to scan QR-Codes, "out of the box".

FYI:
The Japanese scan about as many QR-Codes from computer screens, as they do from posters and billboards (about 50% to 50%).

So: Don't ask me, whay I publish QR-Codes on my blogs... :) , because they are scanable, right from the screen, and will be noticed, scaned and shared. Well, at least in Japan, and from Japanese, anywhere in the world. The Americans and Brits, are just comming out of the woodwork. Or to speak more faire: not the consumers, but the American and British smart phone and software manufacturers and sellers. ...smelling the fresh morning breeze of the mobile tech world.

Happy holidays and QR-Code sharing!
